It will appear in the Extensions folder as pHTML:MAVON <LI>If you wish to test it before writing content, read on. Otherwise, <A HREF="writing.html">go write some web pages</A> for service by your Notepad Server. </OL> <H2>Testing Notepad Server</H2> <OL> <LI>Open nHTTPd and establish a connection. Then look in the field where an IP address is displayed. This is your server's IP. If you are friendly with your ISP or system admin, request a static IP and DNS be assigned to your Newton. For instance, my Newton always gets <B>vaughn.life.uiuc.edu</B> from my local PPP server. <LI>Go to a web browser on another machine with an Internet connection and go to <B>http://insert.ip.address.here/html/ </B>(and don't forget the trailing slash!) <LI>You'll get a page with your name, address, phone, email, and the time, all dynamically generated.
